Big rig. Small steps.
Start where you are. Make time for a little strength between the miles—with movements that meet you at your level.

Beginner-friendly variation
Almost-standing push-ups
Use a verified, secure, load-bearing hand support. Keep your feet planted and body aligned; bend your elbows slowly, then press back. A more upright position keeps the movement gentler.

Assisted strength variation
Truck-frame assisted pull-ups
Only use a professionally installed, exercise-rated frame-mounted bar. Keep your feet supported on a stable platform to reduce the load, pull with control, and lower slowly—no swinging or sudden drops.
Park first. Safety always. Engine off, parking brake set, wheels chocked, and level ground away from traffic. Do not use mirrors, doors, exhausts or unrated truck parts as exercise anchors. Illustrative images do not certify equipment safety. Stop for pain or dizziness and seek professional guidance when needed.
Low carb.
Real questions.
A practical approach to eating on the road, backed by evidence—not promises.
RESEARCH SPOTLIGHT · BMJ, 2021
23 randomized trials. 1,357 adults.
Goldenberg and colleagues reviewed low- and very-low-carbohydrate diets in adults with type 2 diabetes. At six months, they found improvements in several outcomes, including blood-sugar control, weight and triglycerides.
Benefits generally diminished by 12 months, and longer-term evidence was limited. These findings do not mean low carb is best for everyone.
